For when you’re busy and need a simple guide on how to make storage work for you.

We've created this simple 5 step guide to help you get on your way. There's also lots of help and advice in the Hints & Tips section of our website to make even more sense out of storage. Have a look at our Jargon Buster or try our Space Calculator too (also in the Information Hub).

1. Find a Location

For your convenience (particularly if you are going to visit your unit regularly) choose a storage location near you.

2. Select a Size

Work out what sized storage space works best for you. There are all sorts of different sized storage units  available. If you're not sure, try our Space Calculator so you’re only paying for the space that you need.

3. Hold your storage unit.

If you ready to make the next step, then you  can hold your storage space for free, which locks in the price and any offers available. With us you can do this online here, by phone or call into any location. There’s no obligation or credit card required - and it’s totally free. We’ll then contact you to make a reservation, its only then we ask for a deposit. Learn more about our terms and conditions here.

4. Pack your belongings

Take advantage of some of our Hints & Tips, specially prepared for you by our moving specialists. A full range of packing materials including boxes, tape and bubble wrap are also available for purchase from RedSpot if you need it.

5. Move in

If you've chosen RedSpot, bring your things to your storage location, or ask us to recommend local removal companies, man and van services or van hire to help you do so. We’ll let you see your storage unit before signing an agreement and then you’re free to come and go as you choose.

That’s it, enjoy your space and put the kettle on!

You may have other questions, so for additional assistance have a look through our FAQs, or for a more detailed discussion please get in touch with George or a member of the RedSpot Team.
